The unprecedented global situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic has turned the familiar, even the supposedly unchanging, upside down and rearranged it. Social distancing rules and face coverings keep people apart.

The majority of us spend a large part of our daily life at work. The things we do every day, relationships with colleagues, managers, staff or customers, and the design of the workplace determine to a large extent our satisfaction in life. And this is also in the interest of employers: People who feel comfortable at work will also make a greater contribution to a company’s productivity.
